Bizarre rock formation on Mars

What did the founder of Martian Genesis Martine Grainey find in this picture beamed back to Earth by The Perseverance Rover on Mars?

Is it a rock, is it metal, what is it?

It looks like the letter T.

In the comments on Facebook, you can read about roof decoration, anvils, constructed/industrial and metal connector pieces to keep rocks together. Just a few of many comments.

Here is what Martine Grainey wrote about the picture.

"At first glance, the darker, metallic form with curved edges, gives the appearance of something engineered, part of a machine or engine maybe.

It also gives the impression of “encapsulating” the rounder form which might, or might not actually be a part of it. But it certainly does not appear natural. However, it would be interesting to invite any engineers in the groups to give their opinion on it - and even to offer any suggestions as to whether it actually does resemble anything here on Earth that may be familiar to them.
